The Valley Radio, Q99.7 Staff

These are the folks behind the curtain (so to speak), they play a big part in keeping the "Q" sounding as good as it does.

I've worked along side the ever evolving "Q-crew" since June of 2000… It is, and has been, a truly enjoyable experience. Over the years I've not only gotten to know those tied to the station but, I've met, connected with, learned from numerous people throughout the community and beyond; political giants, small/big business owners, musicians, actors, actresses', inventors, radio legends, etc. I appreciate what each and every one of you has done for me and/or the "Q". I've held many different positions at Valley Radio and I have to say, I'm happiest when my job pertains to being creative. In radio, production is where it's at… I have one of the greatest jobbies (as in hobby/job) in the world.

I’m originally from Ohio, “GO BUCKEYES”. I’ve been a professional educator, planetarium director, head coach for 38 teams, and a member of the Olympic Track Tour – High Hurdler. I have extensive experience with marketing plans, public relations, and fund raising events. Entrepreneur/business owner since 1982 - marketing/advertising/sales and radio consultant since 2005.
Life is all about attitude. I enjoy working with our team here at Q99.7. They develop ideas, use creative production techniques, and they help business owners achieve their goals.

Grew up in Caledonia MI and began radio there. Went to Santa Maria California and worked in a cluster of three stations there. Then off to Dallas Texas, #5 Market for CBS radio and now I’m here “home” in Alaska!
